Vintage King Cleveland Superior Model Trumpet – Refurbished, Custom Brushed Finish   
 
A beautiful refurbished Vintage King Cleveland Superior Model Trumpet with a custom brushed finish. 
This is a great horn at a great price --the instrument is incredibly clean and is a real beauty for its age.  The serial number is 566XX which dates it to the early 1950’s. 
This trumpet has been professionally serviced including: a full cleaning, large dent removal, and inspection of all solder joints. There are a few tiny dings and pitting which won’t affect the playing.  The pistons have great compression and a wonderful smooth action. New waterkey springs, corks, and felts. 
The original lacquer has been removed and a brushed finish has been hand-applied.  This a raw-brass horn, you will occasionally need to polish it. The instrument has a great feel and look, please see all photos. 
The instrument has been play-tested and sounds great, dark rich tone with great resonance.  A wonderfully responsive instrument, they don’t make them like this anymore, don’t let this one get away!
